An era has ended

The founder and longtime owner of JEROS A/S - Knud Rosdahl – passed away peacefully Saturday 4th June 2016.

In the early 1960, as a newly graduated engineer, Knud Rosdahl spend his spare time developing a machine that could clean baking trays. Around 1970 he and his brother developed a series of utensil washers, initially mainly meant for bakers. Thus JEROS A/S was established.

Knud was an entrepreneur before it was modern and could be compared to a bumblebee (who allegedly does not know that it cannot fly). However, he never built airplanes - Knud Rosdahl kept more to water - primarily building utensil washers and ships.

Along the way, the utensil washers won, and in the beginning of the 1990s, he gathered all the activities in a newly built factory in Ringe and here the company celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013.

Over the years, he had slowly transferred management - and part of the ownership - of JEROS A/S to his daughter Evita Rosdahl, but he retained a seat on the board until the end. Throughout the years JEROS A/S has grown into a company with about 50 employees and a solid economy.

In the spirit of Knud Rosdahl, the machine is still produced in Denmark but sold anywhere in the world. Many of the company's resellers in Denmark and Europe, has been with the company since they were visited by a young Knud Rosdahl, who convinced them that his company made the best utensil washers and tray cleaners in the world.
